But my stint working at Dollywood introduced me to the wonderful glory that is the mullet. Yes, you read that right, I did work at Dollywood. I actually worked there for two summers doing college. Need proof??
I'm the one looking hot in the red dress (which is actually my 1880s bathing suit!)
Anyway, back to mullets. I'd never seen so many mullets until working there. I mean, people came out of the wood works to enjoy some Dollywood fun.
There were about 40 of us working there together, and mullets were often the highlight of our day. We made up hand signals to silently warn everyone of an upcoming mullet. We shared good mullet sightings after work--The best sightings were always the mullet families where every member sported the do. And on our days off we would often go to the park and take pictures of ourselves with a great mullet in the background.
All of these lovely memories came flooding back while on my 'run' today. I was on my usual route that takes me by all my favorite houses, and what do I see?? Yup, you guessed it, a fantastic mullet! It's the first I've seen in Small Town, Virginia!
This said mullet resided on the head of a lawn care worker. I should have paid more attention to the company name on the side of the truck that way I could hire my mullet friend to do some lawn work at my home whilst I marvel at he's glorious hair. Oh well...better luck next time I guess!
