The lovely warm weather of spring has done something to me. Something that my house and husband are thanking me for...a little spring cleaning! In the past few days I've been getting my clean on....I've gone through closets, exchanged cold-weather clothes for warm ones, done a good cleaning on the bathroom, swept and mopped floors, changed sheets, done numberous loads of laundry, and opened the curtains to watch my husband mow the yard :)
There's something wonderful about Spring. New life, bright colors, and because I work with high school students...Prom! Awww prom. The memories of a perfect night where all my dreams came true--Oh wait that was only in my dreams! Reality of that "perfect" night was quite different than the fantasy. The rush out of the parking lot and to the hair place on a Friday afternoon. The stress of being on time for pictures. The insecurities of comparison. Nope don't miss those things at all! But I guess I can't harp on prom too harshly...it is where it all began for my husband and I!!
